Key Responsibilities Identify and monitor legislation and regulation relevant to the company, communicating developments to business partners Build internal coalitions on legislative priorities to ensure a cross-functional approach to policy development Represent the company on trade association committees and assist in data collection for public disclosure initiatives Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Government Relations or a related field Knowledge of the legislative/regulatory process, with experience in life insurance or financial services preferred Understanding of relevant trade associations and their collaborative processes Strong analytical abilities and effective interaction skills with internal clients Ability to maintain and enhance formal policies and procedures for team effectiveness
